Terms of Service

Répertoire is a free tool that recommends classical piano pieces based on your skill level, goals, and taste, and helps you track pieces you've learned or are interested in. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial, educational use.

You may need an account to save a profile and repertoire. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when creating an account, and let us know at support@repertoire.app if you believe your account has been compromised. You can also try the Service without an account in guest/preview mode, which does not save a persistent profile.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Scrape, mass-download, or use automated means to extract data beyond normal personal use;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service's recommendation engine or underlying data.

We may investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates this section.

The Répertoire name, branding, interface, and recommendation logic are owned by LHK Space and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Sheet music links point to public-domain scores hosted by IMSLP; we do not claim ownership over that music or those scores. Performance videos are embedded from YouTube and remain the property of their respective creators/rightsholders. See our Attributions page for a full list of data sources, third-party content, open-source software, and trademarks referenced on the Service.

You retain ownership of any information you provide (such as your profile preferences), and grant us a license to use it solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Répertoire's piece recommendations, difficulty ratings, and AI-generated explanations are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for guidance from a qualified piano teacher, and we make no guarantee that any recommended piece is suitable for your specific technical ability, hand size, or musical goals. Use your own judgment, and consult a teacher, before committing significant practice time to any piece.

The Service links to and embeds third-party content, including IMSLP sheet music and YouTube videos, and relies on third-party infrastructure such as Firebase and Vercel. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites or services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, for any user, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or if continued access poses a risk to the Service or other users.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LHK Space and Répertoire will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The Service is free to use, and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the greater of $0 and the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which, for most users, is $0).

We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; if we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to LHK Space's place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent permitted by law.
